Evan has spent the last 15 years recording and producing artists all across the world – from San Francisco, Boston and Boulder to Norway, Senegal and all places in between. He loves and has recorded such diverse genres as Hip Hop, Rock, Singer-Songwriter, Bluegrass, Traditional African, Jazz, Mexican and Spoken Word to name a few. Also a multi-instrumentalist, Evan’s session play has been featured on hundreds of recordings across multiple genres.
Before starting UI Sound Studios, Evan began his career at the legendary Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco and he has had the privileged to be in the studio with: Bob Weir, Green Day, Gregg Allman, The Neville Brothers, Tom Dowd, Mark Needham, Brendan Benson, Ethan Johns, Martin Levan, David Ogilvy, David Denny, Chris Isaak, Ed Thacker, Stephen Barncard and The Digital Underground.
Patrick Tracy
Engineer/Mixer/Technical Consultant
Patrick Tracy is a live sound and studio engineer with more than 15 years experience. His knowledge of the ins and outs of intra-studio design brings U.I. Sound to its sonic best. Equally skilled in tracking and mixing, Patrick will make you sound amazing. He has worked with a huge range of styles, including: Jamband, Reggae, Country/Folk, Classic Rock, Punk, Metal, Middle Eastern, Baltic, Classical and Jazz. A well-known professional along the Front Range, Patrick also goes by the moniker, Boulder Sound Guy.
